The Peer Counselor will develop supportive relationships with expectant mothers to encourage breastfeeding. They will provide ongoing expertise and guidance to mothers after their infants are born.
Under the direction and supervision of the Breastfeeding Coordinator the Peer Counselor will develop supportive relationships with women to improve the likelihood that expectant mothers will decide to nurse their infants and use peer counselors' expertise after their infant’s birth.
