The Lab Assistant performs standardized phlebotomy procedures and manages specimen processing, including labeling and instrument maintenance. They also handle patient check-in and order entry while collaborating with clinical staff and pathologists.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program. At least 6 months of phlebotomy and specimen processing experience is required.
