The physician will assess and treat patients in the emergency room to stabilize injuries and medical conditions. They are responsible for ordering diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, and referring patients to specialists.

Requirements

Medical degree from an accredited medical institution or program. At least three years of residency program. License to practice in the state of oklahoma. Certification in pals and acls. Knowledge of current medical practices procedures and equipment. Excellent writing and oral communication skills.

Job summary

Assess and attend to patients who enter a hospital’s emergency room. They immediately treat any injuries, infections, or other conditions to stabilize patients. Er doctors request medical test when appropriate for patients, create treatment plans and recommend patients to appropriate specialist.
