The Mental Health Technician provides patient care, assists with activities of daily living, and manages admission and discharge procedures. They also facilitate patient groups, perform safety checks, and assist the nursing staff with various care functions.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and hold a Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician certification. A BLS certification is required, and the ability to communicate professionally while managing stressful situations is essential.
