The Dental Hygienist is responsible for providing quality preventative care, including scaling, polishing, and X-rays. They must educate patients on oral hygiene and maintain accurate patient histories and charting.
Candidates must hold an active Florida Dental Hygienist License and current BLS/CPR certifications. While new graduates are welcome, one or more years of clinical experience and proficiency with Denticon software are preferred.
Build strong relationships with patients, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience Screening patients and providing quality care during check-ups Educating patients in oral hygiene technique and working with patients and their oral hygiene care Reviewing patient's history and charting Administers prophylactic treatment by scaling and polishing Documents area of existing restorations Use of X-ray Support the dentist with procedures as needed
