The Physical Therapist evaluates patients to develop and implement treatment plans aimed at improving physical function and health status. They are responsible for documenting patient progress, ensuring accurate billing, and providing education to patients and their families.
Candidates must hold at least a Bachelor's degree from an approved physical therapy program. A current Florida Physical Therapist license and BLS/HealthCare Provider certification are required.
Works with patients who have impairments, limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease or other causes. The Physical Therapist role includes examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis and interventions toward achieving the highest functional outcomes for each patient or client.
