The Community Support Professional provides one-on-one assistance to individuals to help them reach personal goals and participate in community activities. Responsibilities include supporting daily living skills, maintaining activity logs, and ensuring the safety and well-being of the individuals served.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and a compassionate, patient, and reliable personality. Previous experience as Direct Support Staff is considered a plus, but the employer is willing to provide comprehensive training.

Job Summary
As a Community Support Professional, you will provide one-on-one assistance to individuals with diverse needs. Your primary goal is to empower them to reach their personal goals, participate in community activities, and manage daily tasks. Whether it’s heading out to a local park, attending a community event, or learning a new life skill, you are there to provide the encouragement and support they need to thrive.
Accompany and support individuals during outings, social events, and recreational activities.
Help individuals develop daily living skills such as budgeting, meal planning, and navigating public transportation.
Support the personal growth goals outlined in each individual’s care plan.
Maintain simple, accurate daily logs of activities and progress.
Ensure the well-being and safety of the individual while in the home or out in the community.
Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
Previous experience as Direct Support Staff is a plus but not required.
Must be open to completing our comprehensive training program.
A compassionate, patient, and reliable personality with a genuine desire to help others.
