The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates patients and develops effective treatment plans to address their specific conditions. They are responsible for monitoring patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies, and providing patient education to ensure optimal health outcomes.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders and possess a current Florida license. A Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA and BLS certification from the American Heart Association are also required.
The Speech Language Pathologist examines and evaluates patients, developing effective treatment plans appropriate for the patient condition. The Speech Language Pathologist measures patient progress, modifies treatment plans and educates the patient to produce optimal outcomes.
