The Imaging Technologist performs radiographic procedures using ionizing radiation to support medical diagnoses and patient care. They also collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret images and assist in training students and other technologists.
Candidates must hold a Certificate in Radiology, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and a State Radiographer Operator License. An Associate's Degree in Radiology is preferred, and ARRT-R certification is required within 180 days.
