The Nursing Specialist provides daily medical care, including exams, vital sign monitoring, and medication administration for clients. They also document medical occurrences and train staff on medication procedures while supporting the clinical team.
Candidates must hold a current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or higher and possess a 2-year nursing degree. Experience in a trauma-informed setting and knowledge of the 12-step recovery process are preferred.
Description ABOUT THE POSITION & ITS IMPACT The Nursing Specialist is responsible for caring for and supporting our client’s medical care during their stay at Milestones. Working alongside the VP of Medical Services, Clinical Director, Psychiatric team, Client Advocates and other Milestones’ stakeholders, the Nursing Specialist is the day-to-day medical contact for all manner of client care and provides world-class care in concert with the client’s treatment plan.

IDEAL EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE FOR THE ROLE: Typically, with most openings within our team we have very open and flexible requirements for evaluating candidates for a position.
