The Nurse Practitioner will manage an average of 12-14 oncology patients per day within a clinical setting. They are expected to collaborate with the healthcare team to improve patient outcomes and provide high-quality, patient-centered care.

Healthy Hometown Grant recipient; this role is a 5 year commitment minimum Full-time patient position, including dedicated administrative time for notes, with flexible scheduling to ensure sufficient patient access Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination

Responsibilities

Average of 12-14 patients per day; no nights or weekends Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

Requirements

Candidates must be a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner with an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa. Previous oncology experience is preferred, and the role requires the ability to prescribe and administer medications.
