Provides medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services to restore function and prevent disability in patients with various disorders. Functions as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team while adhering to hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
Requires a Bachelor or Master degree in Occupational Therapy along with a current state certification or license. Candidates must also hold a current BCLS certificate, with NBCOT and AOTA/OTAC certifications preferred.
Provides medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services within scope of practice in order to restore function and prevent disability for clients or patients with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular and cardiopulmonary disorders. Performs responsibilities in accordance with department and Hospital Policies, state, federal and regulatory requirements: Title 22 Section 70517, 70519. Functions according to professional practice as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team.
Education and Work Experience Bachelor or Master Degree in Occupational Therapy. Current state Occupational Therapy certification/license. Current BCLS (AHA) certificate National Board for Certification Occupational Therapy certification, AOTA and OTAC preferred.
