The Echo Technologist performs diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures, including 2-D imaging and Doppler recordings, to provide high-quality images for physician evaluation. They are also responsible for maintaining patient safety, documenting results in the EMR, and collaborating with the healthcare team.
Candidates must have 1-3 years of experience in echocardiography or cardiac sonography. A professional certification such as RDMS, RDCS, or RCS is required, along with BCLS certification.
