ULTRA C II, ARDMS OR CCI certification will be accepted. It is preferred that this certification is obtained within 90 days of hire or transfer to the position. Other duties and responsibitities

• Records any and all patient data appropriately. Utilizes IV Optison contrast and/or agitated saline as required for procedures according to protocols. Monitors patient's physical and mental condition throughout the entire procedure. Participates in obtaining and/or maintenance of ultrasound lab accreditation. Maintains ultrasound equipment and work area and adequate supplies. Provides excellent customer service. Always demonstrates professionalism and courtesy toward all employees, physicians, associated staff and MyMichigan Health customers and potential customers. Cooperates with other personnel to achieve departmental and hospital goals; attends/participates in departmental and hospital meetings. Performs other work-related duties as assigned including assisting in other areas of the department as needed. MyMichigan Health is a technology driven organization and employees need to demonstrate competency in Microsoft Windows. An employee may be required to participate in further learning opportunities by MyMichigan Health.

Able to wear personal protective equipment that includes latex materials or appropriate substitute if required for your position.
