The OB/GYN physician will manage a mix of clinic, surgical, and inpatient responsibilities, including serving as an OB/GYN Hospitalist. They will provide care in Labor & Delivery and the Emergency Department while collaborating with a multidisciplinary women's health network.
Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree with ACGME accredited residency training and board certification or eligibility in OBGYN. An active Montana medical license, Federal DEA Registration, and BLS certification are required.

You will join a newly forming obstetrics & gynecology practice in Billings, Montana, employed by the Intermountain Medical Group. As an OB/GYN generalist, your schedule will include a mix of clinic, surgical and inpatient responsibilities. Flexible scheduling, including potential for part time status, is available. Call expectation will be an average of 6 12-hour shifts per month (ie. 1:10). Call is taken restricted where you’ll serve as an OB/GYN Hospitalist. Primarily spending your time in Labor & Delivery, you will also provide care in the ED supporting patients that have obstetric or gynecology needs while on service. Anesthesia in house and available 24/7 MFM clinic onsite and available 24/7 for telehealth consult. You’ll become part of our women’s health network, connecting you to other women’s health providers across the Mountain West and locally to certified nurse midwives, gynecologic oncologists, urogynecologists, and allied health providers like pelvic floor physical therapists. St Vincent is a large regional referral center that welcomes an average of 1,800 deliveries annually. With a level III NICU, we provide care to patients at all levels of acuity & lengths of gestation. We are a designated Baby-Friendly Hospital, ranking in the top 3% of hospitals for Obstetrics and top 1% for Women's Services by Women’s Choice Awards Best Hospitals 2025. Our surgical center is home to 3 Da Vinci Robots (XI & DV5). We are excited to be relocating to a newly built facility in 2029. How we'll support you: For full time, you’ll be paid a guaranteed annual salary of $369,000.00, with opportunity for additional pay for productivity. You will receive a starting bonus of $25,000.00, and relocation assistance up to $20,000.00. Eligible for up to $100,000.00 in student loan assistance.
