Overview Pulmonologist Opportunity – St. Mary’s Hospital, Kankakee, IL Elevate Your Career with Prime Healthcare in a Welcoming River Community St. Mary’s Hospital, a 182-bed acute care facility and proud member of Prime Healthcare – one of the nation’s largest and most award-winning health systems – is seeking a board-certified/eligible Pulmonologist to join our expanding pulmonary program. Responsibilities

Diagnose and manage a wide range of pulmonary conditions, including COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary infections, lung cancer, and sleep disorders. Perform diagnostic procedures such as bronchoscopy, pulmonary function testing interpretation, and thoracentesis. Develop personalized treatment plans, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (including oncology, cardiology, and sleep medicine), and educate patients on disease management. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and potential program development.

Qualifications

MD or DO degree with board certification/eligibility in Pulmonary Disease. Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency and Pulmonary fellowship. Strong clinical skills in outpatient, inpatient, and critical care settings. Excellent communication abilities and a commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care. Eligibility for Illinois medical licensure. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $400,000 - $500,000 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
