Bright Now! Dental supported by Smile Brands is seeking an experienced part time Dental Assistant to join our team in Herndon, VA. We are looking for a dependable, patient-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced dental environment and is committed to delivering outstanding patient care.
Schedule (days/hours)
Thursdays and floating options with ortho team
Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed Ensure patients are comfortable and informed throughout their visit Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation Follow infection control and OSHA protocols Support the clinical team to ensure smooth daily operations
Radiology RDA certification Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date) Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and OSHA/HIPAA standards Strong communication and commitment to excellent patient care
