The Group Life Counselor provides direct chemical dependency services including individual and group counseling, intake, and patient evaluation. They are responsible for milieu management and the supervision of patients within a multi-disciplinary treatment team.
Candidates must hold or be enrolled in an Associate's degree program in Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, Addictions, or a related field, with a Bachelor's degree preferred. Applicants must be registered with the Department of Health (DOH) as a Chemical Dependency Professional Trainee (CDPT).
