The HIM Technician prepares, scans, and maintains medical records while ensuring quality and efficiency. They also assist with birth certificate processing and support physicians with chart deficiency inquiries.
A high school diploma or GED is required, while an associate or technical degree is preferred. Candidates must be able to work onsite and follow established medical record procedures.
