The Surgical Assistant supports oral surgeons during procedures by maintaining sterile environments and monitoring patient status. They are also responsible for documenting patient care and obtaining necessary radiographs.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and BLS certification or the ability to obtain it within one month. Preferred qualifications include previous oral surgery experience, DAANCE certification, and a dental assistant license.
