The Phlebotomist/Processor is responsible for performing venipuncture, preparing samples for laboratory testing, and managing accurate data entry. They must also provide excellent customer service while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols and laboratory quality standards.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent and demonstrate strong organizational skills with high attention to detail. Previous phlebotomy experience is preferred, though on-the-job training is provided for the right candidate.

Technical responsibilities: Performing venipuncture for blood collection, obtaining additional specimen types as required, and preparing all samples for lab testing and screening. Accurate data management: Verifying specimen information, performing data entry, and properly identifying patient information. Specimen handling: Receiving, processing, and packaging samples for referral labs while maintaining specimen integrity.
Following safety protocols, HIPAA policies, Medicare rules, and participating in quality assurance.
Covering work shifts at different sites as needed to ensure smooth operations.
