The Physical Therapist Assistant administers therapeutic treatments, exercises, and modalities to patients under the direction of a Physical Therapist. They also monitor patient progress, educate families, and maintain accurate medical records.
Candidates must hold an Associate degree from a licensed physical therapy assistant program and possess a valid North Carolina license. Two years of relevant outpatient experience and CPR certification are also required.
