Provides comprehensive clinical and administrative support in a General Surgery and Vascular Clinic, managing patients through pre-, intra-, and post-procedure phases. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate procedures, educate patients, and ensure efficient clinic operations.
Requires a graduate of an accredited nursing program with a valid RN license in Virginia or a compact state and prior nursing experience. BLS certification is required upon hire, with ACLS certification required within 90 days.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program required. Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the Commonwealth of Virginia or eligible compact state required. Prior nursing experience required; surgical, vascular, procedural, or critical care experience preferred. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred. American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider CPR certification required upon hire. AHA ACLS Provider certification required within 90 days of hire. Required Physical Requirements: Constant (67-100% of workday) walking, standing, use of arms and hands; frequent (34-66% of workday) bending, stooping, kneeling, and squatting; ability to lift 35 lbs.; ability to push and pull 20 lbs.; auditory and visual skills to include color determination; ability to work in confined spaces; ability to reach above/overhead. Mental Requirements: Possesses critical thinking and analytical skills. Ability to multi-task. Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team. Capacity to cope with difficult situations. Ability to tolerate irregular hours including evenings, nights, and weekends.
