The Nursing Assistant provides patient care activities and accommodative services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse. They assist with daily patient needs in a hospital or nursing home environment.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a hospital or nursing home setting is preferred, along with relevant certifications like BLS and CPI.
Under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager and the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse, the Nursing Assistant provides a variety of patient care activities and accommodative services for assigned patients.
