The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic examinations in various hospital settings including patient rooms and the emergency room. They must ensure patient safety through proper identification and radiation protection while maintaining accurate electronic medical records.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and a New Jersey Diagnostic Radiology license from the ARRT. A BLS certification is required within 14 days of hire.
High school diploma or equivalent. New Jersey Diagnostic Radiology licensure from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
