The Emergency Medicine Physician will travel system-wide to provide medical care at various community and critical access hospitals. They are expected to serve, teach, and learn while delivering high-quality emergency services to patients.
Candidates must possess an MD or DO degree and have completed an accredited emergency medicine residency program. Applicants must be board certified in emergency medicine and eligible for an unrestricted West Virginia medical license.

WVUM and the department of Emergency Medicine seeks a full-time Emergency Medicine Physician to travel system-wide, serving at various community and critical access hospitals in WV, OH, PA, and MD. Qualified applicants must have an MD or DO degree (the employer accepts foreign educational equivalent) and be eligible to obtain an unrestricted West Virginia medical license. Candidates must be emergency medicine board certified and have completed an accredited emergency medicine residency program and/or a recognized board within ABMS.
