The LPN/RN is responsible for providing daily care, health assessments, and safety monitoring for residents while maintaining accurate nursing documentation. They also assist in managing nursing unit staff, implementing care plans, and ensuring quality standards are met.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of nursing and hold a valid LPN or RN license in good standing. Proficiency in basic computer programs like Excel and Word, along with strong interpersonal skills, is required.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and Registered Nurse (RN) Primary Responsibilities The nurse is responsible for providing for the daily care, health needs, safety and comfort of the residents. Including providing professional assessments and documentation of the residents health and assisting with the management of the assigned nursing units staff. Lead and execute comprehensive patient care with precision, ensuring every resident receives personalized, high-quality nursing intervention. Participate in the development and implementation of resident care plans, maintaining up to date nursing care plans, documenting progress and making recommendations for revisions to care plans according to facility policy and procedure Nurse will make daily and periodic visits to observe for symptoms, reactions to medication and/or treatment Obtaining and documenting vital signs, intake and output, weights, diet supplements and replacements, cultures, etc. Assisting with the orientation and on-going training of staff to assure required skill levels are maintained for all staff Reporting and documenting resident and/or visitor incidents, accidents, complaints or allegations according to the facility’s policy and procedure using the designated occurrence reporting system
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and Registered Nurse (RN) Qualifications A graduate of an accredited school of nursing and possess a valid LPN/RN License in good standing according to State and Federal requirements Have a thorough understanding of the principles of safe effective nursing practices within the State of Ohio Proficient in digital documentation systems and medical software, ensuring accurate and efficient electronic health record management.
