A Patient Sitter assists patients with activities of daily living and maintains a safe environment under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. They provide non-certified assistive support to ensure patient safety within the hospital unit.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and obtain BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Previous healthcare experience is preferred for this role.
A Patient Sitter is an unlicensed non-certified assistive person who assists with activities of daily living and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. High School diploma or equivalent. 2. Previous healthcare experience preferred. 3.
