Direct Support Professional 3-11pm or Weekend overnights

Hands of Heartland is looking for compassionate and caring individuals to work with the people we support as a Direct Support Professional (DSP)/ Caregiver. Our residential locations in Council Bluffs, IA are looking for Evenings 3-11pm or weekends Saturday and Sunday.

What a Direct Support Professional Does

Works directly with people with developmental disabilities assisting them with day to day living activities. Supports individuals with activities and developing skills in a home environment and in community settings.

Skillset Needed for the Job

Ability to work independently in a fast paced, team-oriented environment. Flexible and willing to adapt to change. Know the value of communication. Desire to support people and encourage them to reach goals.

Requirements

Must be 18 years old. Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance. Must be able to pass all background checks. Experience not required- we will train.

Pay

• Starting
• Pay: 17.00/hour. We pay more for experience and if you have a CNA license. Incentives also available.
