Description Occupational Therapist PRN

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team on a PRN (as-needed) basis. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives by providing expert therapeutic services tailored to individual needs. Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' functional abilities and develop personalized treatment plans
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to improve motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living activities
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and strategies for ongoing improvement
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist
  • Proven experience in a clinical or healthcare setting preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Compassionate, patient-focused approach with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility to work on an as-needed basis, including evenings and weekends if required

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current state licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist is required.
