The Physical Therapist Assistant provides skilled physical therapy services in patient homes according to the plan of care developed by a Physical Therapist. They are responsible for documenting patient progress, educating families on safety and equipment, and coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team.
Candidates must hold a current state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant and possess at least one year of acute care experience. A valid driver's license and reliable auto insurance are required for daily travel to patient locations.
