Position Summary

• The Remote Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) provides evidence-based behavioral health services through telehealth platforms. This role conducts assessments, develops treatment plans, and delivers therapy services while ensuring compliance with DBHDS, DMAS, and HIPAA standards. Core Responsibilities Conduct biopsychosocial assessments via telehealth
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy
• Utilize evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care)
• Deliver services through HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Participate in team meetings and interdisciplinary collaboration

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia
• Master’s degree in Counseling or related field
• Clinical experience preferred
• Ability to meet DBHDS and background requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Medicaid (DMAS)
• Knowledge of DBHDS regulations
• Telehealth experience
• Familiarity with EHR systems Work Environment Fully remote. Must maintain a private, secure workspace compliant with HIPAA. Supervision Reports to Clinical Supervisor or Program Director. Participates in supervision and team meetings.
