The Certified Nurse Midwife provides comprehensive midwifery care across outpatient clinic and hospital labor and delivery settings. This includes managing prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care, as well as performing gynecologic services and preventive screenings.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nurse-midwifery program and hold certification from the American Midwifery Certification Board. An active Arizona Certified Nurse Midwife license and 2-3 years of full-scope midwifery experience are strongly preferred.

Provide full-scope midwifery care including prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecologic services Independently manage spontaneous vaginal deliveries and assist with cesarean births as needed Perform well-woman exams, preventive screenings, and contraceptive counseling Support postpartum recovery including breastfeeding guidance and newborn care education Educate patients on family planning, reproductive health, and birth options Collaborate with OB/GYNs, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care Document all patient encounters accurately and efficiently within the EHR Promote evidence-based practice and patient advocacy throughout the care continuum Prerequisites / License & Certification Requirements: Graduate of an accredited nurse-midwifery program Certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) Active Arizona Certified Nurse Midwife license or ability to obtain within 90 days BLS certification preferred Minimum 2–3 years of full-scope midwifery experience preferred with a strong GYN focus If you meet all of our criteria and would like to be considered, please apply with your most updated Resume/CV.
