About the role

The Clinical Therapist provides individual, family, and group therapy services to clients with various mental health concerns. Responsibilities include conducting psychosocial assessments, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

We are seeking a compassionate and licensed Clinical Therapist to join our behavioral health team in Wylie, Texas. The Clinical Therapist will provide individual, family, and group therapy services to clients experiencing a range of mental health concerns. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, evidence-based care while promoting emotional wellness, resilience, and long-term recovery.

Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Provide evidence-based therapy (CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, solution-focused therapy, etc.) Facilitate individual, couples, family, and/or group counseling sessions Document all clinical services accurately and in compliance with state and organizational standards Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Collaborate with psychiatrists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals Maintain ethical standards and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and Texas licensing board regulations Participate in treatment team meetings and clinical supervision (if applicable) Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments when necessary

Qualifications

Active Texas license: LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent clinical license required Master’s degree in counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred (interns with supervision may be considered) Strong understanding of mental health disorders, diagnosis, and treatment planning Experience with electronic health records (EHR) preferred Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills

Work Environment & Schedule Outpatient behavioral health setting in Wylie, Texas Hybrid or telehealth options may be available depending on licensing and organizational needs Flexible scheduling with daytime and/or evening availability (Part Time hours) Minium of 1-2 days out of the week.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master's degree in a related field and an active Texas clinical license (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT). One to two years of clinical experience is preferred, along with proficiency in evidence-based therapy and EHR systems.
