The surgical technologist assists during surgical procedures to ensure efficient and safe case progress. They are also responsible for the maintenance and handling of surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment.
Candidates must have completed education in surgical technology or possess equivalent on-the-job training. Certification as a CST or TS-C is required within six months of the start date.
