Role Description We are currently seeking a Massage Therapist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping clients feel their best and takes pride in delivering high-quality service in a professional spa environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform massage therapy services based on client needs.
• Conduct client consultations.
• Maintain a clean and professional workspace.
• Deliver a high-quality client experience.
• Complete treatment notes.
• Follow all applicable health and safety standards.

Requirements

• Valid New York State Massage Therapy License or Permit.
• Ability to obtain or maintain liability malpractice insurance.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in a professional spa environment.
• Ability to perform the essential job functions of this role with or without reasonable accommodation, including providing massage services, standing for extended periods, and maintaining a professional spa environment.

• Preferred Skills
• Experience with multiple massage modalities such as Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, prenatal, sports massage, or cupping.
• Reiki or additional wellness certifications are a plus.

Compensation Compensation is based on services performed and paid per session, not hourly employment.

Average earnings are approximately $40 per service/session. Additional commission opportunities may be available.

Work Structure This opportunity is structured as an independent contractor (1099) relationship. Contractors maintain control over their schedules and are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and related business expenses.
