The physician provides comprehensive primary care, including well-care and acute/chronic treatment, to patients of all ages. They also collaborate with healthcare teams, educate families on health management, and maintain accurate medical records.
Candidates must hold an M.D. or D.O. degree with a valid New York State medical license and current DEA registration. At least two years of clinical experience and prior experience in supervising or training clinical staff are required.
The Community-Based Physician requires an M.D. or D.O. degree; a current, valid license to practice medicine in New York State (license must be in good standing). Maintains credentialing and privileges as granted by the Board of Directors and the Health Center. Maintains DEA registration. Is not excluded to participate as a provider in the Medicaid and Medicare Programs. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with compassion, and high level of service for our patients, parents, and staff; at least two years of experience providing medical care to patients and families; experience with supervision and/or training to clinical staff.
