Assist in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, or other surgical personnel. Act as a member of the operating room team alongside surgeons, anesthesiologists, and circulating nurses.
Must be a graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program and hold current certification. Requires at least 2 years of operating room experience and BLS certification.

Surgical Technologists, also called scrubs and surgical or operating room technicians, assist in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, or other surgical personnel. Surgical technologists are members of operating room teams, which most commonly include surgeons, anesthesiologists, and circulating nurses.
