The Advanced Practice Provider delivers high-quality, patient-centered obstetric and gynecologic care, including prenatal and postpartum services. They collaborate with supervising physicians to manage outpatient visits, perform assessments, and develop treatment plans.
Candidates must hold a degree of Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy from an accredited medical school and have completed an approved residency program. A current physician license to practice in the State of Utah and board certification are required.

Education/Experience: Graduation from an accredited medical school with a degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) and completion of an approved residency program. Must be qualified in Basic Life Support techniques. Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers/patients, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word; Microsoft Excel; Internet Explorer; and an electronic medical record system. Certificates and Licenses: Must possess current certification by the American Board of Family Practice or other appropriate specialty board. Must possess a current physician license to practice medicine in the State of Utah. Supervisory Responsibilities: The physician may be asked to supervise a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
