• We are currently seeking a talented and compassionate PMHNP to join our team.
• The licensed professional provides medical care to patients under supervision of a licensed psychiatrist.
• Primary responsibilities will include diagnosing and treating mental illness by providing psychotherapy and managing medication.

Qualifications

Current State of Illinois licensure in good standing as Advanced Practice Nurse and RN. National certification as Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatric Training (ANCC) Board Certified (or elligibility to obtain) Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner -- PMHNP-BC Current CPR certification must be maintained (BLS). Based on prescriptive authority, active Mid-level Practitioner Controlled Substance License and DEA License a plus A minimum of 5 years previous experience in behavioral health nursing is required.
