RN Charge Nurse PRN Days Med Surg Inpatient Surgical GI GU Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Position Highlights: Work location: Texas Health Fort Worth, 1304 Pennsylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76104 Work environment: BU GI GU Surgical Unit Work hours: PRN Days as needed Department Highlights: Justin 4 – GI GU Surgical Unit Justin 4 is a 36‑bed surgical unit that will care for colorectal, gastrointestinal, and urology surgery patients.
On August 10, the unit will initially open with 20 beds, with plans to expand to the full 36 beds later in the year.
Patients may be admitted pre‑ or post‑operatively, with an average length of stay of approximately five days.
RN staffing ratio: 1:4 PCT staffing ratio: 1:12 Positions require 12‑hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays.
Team members may be placed on call for regularly scheduled shifts in response to census fluctuations.
