include managing appointments, obtaining histories, maintaining medical records, handling invoicing, preparing patients for surgery, assisting with procedures like intubation and radiographs, and ensuring operating rooms and instruments are cleaned and prepared. The role also requires liaising between surgeons and clients regarding treatment plans and post-operative care instructions.
Candidates must possess a State Registered Veterinary Technician license and prior veterinary experience, with previous surgery experience being desired. Essential qualifications include proficiency in calculations for drugs and conversions, flexibility with work hours, and excellent verbal and written communication skills for a fast-paced environment.
