The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide daily skilled nursing care to pediatric patients with medical complexities, adhering to individual needs and care plans using a multidisciplinary approach. The LPN is also responsible for educating the client and family as necessary while working under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current LPN licensure in Kentucky, or possess a recent graduate provisional license. Basic computer skills and comfort with electronic charting systems are required, along with a current negative Tuberculosis skin test and current CPR certification.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will be responsible for providing care to pediatric patients, according to their individual needs and care plan using a multidisciplinary method. The LPN will educate the client and family as necessary. The LPN will be under the direction of a Registered Nurse. The LPN will provide care using a holistic approach, considering the child’s educational, psychosocial, behavioral, physical, mental, and emotional needs.
The Kidz Club PPEC provides daily skilled nursing care for children, ages birth to under 21, who have been diagnosed with medical complexities. PPECs initiate daily conversation among pediatricians, therapists, and family, providing continuity of care through case management, skilled nursing, and enrichment for the betterment of the child.
