About the role

The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic X-ray imaging and bone density scans while assisting with laboratory tasks like phlebotomy. They are also responsible for maintaining equipment, documenting patient records, and providing emergency care support.

Position Overview Provide diagnostic imaging and basic laboratory support services in a clinical setting to support patient care, diagnosis, and treatment. This role involves performing radiologic procedures, assisting with lab tasks such as phlebotomy, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging and bone density scans Prepare and position patients for radiologic procedures Operate and maintain radiographic equipment Ensure radiation safety and proper exposure techniques Assist with laboratory duties, including blood collection (phlebotomy) Document procedures and maintain patient records in electronic systems Monitor equipment functionality and report issues Support emergency care when needed (e.g., CPR, first aid)

Qualifications

Degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program Current ARRT certification (or equivalent) Active state licensure (as required) BLS and ACLS certifications (required) Minimum 2 years of radiology experience (preferred) Knowledge of phlebotomy and laboratory procedures
