The RN Fellow provides compassionate, hands-on care to critically ill pediatric patients while following established nursing practice models and care plans. They actively participate in multidisciplinary rounds, document patient activities, and collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

This position is Night Shift.

At Inova, the Pediatric Cardiac ICU serves the needs of critically ill infants, children, and adolescents who require specialized heart care.
This specialized unit is staffed by highly skilled nurses and a team of intensivists from multiple subspecialties, including anesthesiology, pediatric cardiology, pediatric heart surgery, neonatology (newborn care), cardiac critical care, and pulmonology (lung care).
The unit is expanding to include transplant and device management.

Certification - Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) Licensure - Licensed or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse or an active multi-state Registered Nurse license Experience - 1 year of nursing experience Education - Bachelor's Degree Nursing or Associate's Degree. If RN has an Associate's Degree, must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
