The CRNA is responsible for administering anesthesia during surgical procedures and supporting patient life functions throughout the perioperative period. They also provide pre- and post-anesthesia evaluations and consult on respiratory therapy and pain management.
Candidates must be graduates of a nursing program and a school of anesthesia for nurses. They are required to hold a current Alabama Registered Nurse license with CRNA designation, AANA certification, and ACLS/BLS certification.

EDUCATION Graduate of Nursing Program and School of Anesthesia for Nurses
EXPERIENCE Previous experience as a C. R. N. A. is preferred.
