About the role

Perform various imaging modalities and clinical or administrative duties for outpatients and occupational health clients. Assist physicians and mid-level providers in delivering outcome-based, patient-centered care within a team-based approach.

Summary of Performance Expectations

Promotes a professional patient-centered practice image by efficiently performing a variety of imaging modalities using independent judgment under the clinical direction of a Physician or Mid-level provider. Performs a wide variety of clinical and/or administrative duties to medical office outpatients and Occupational Health (if applicable) patients and clients under the direct supervision of a licensed physician or licensed mid-level provider. Serves as an important role on the care team to assist the physician or mid-level provider with outcome based patient care. Utilizes a team based approach to all tasks.

Education and Credentials

Required

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology. Current ARRT registration. BCLS certification from the American Heart Association required within three months of employment date.

Preferred

Work Experience

Required

Experience in a medical office setting performing x-rays &/or medical assisting using an electronic health record system (EHR). Given training and on-the-job experience, incumbent should be proficient in the basic aspects of special procedures within three months of employment date.date.

Preferred: Occupational Health experience (if applicable)
