• Under general supervision of the Director or Diagnostic Imaging, this position is responsible for scanning and producing a variety of computerized tomography examinations for physician interpretation and diagnosis of injury and/or disease for all patient ages.
• Assists the Radiologist with all diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Delivers exceptional patient care and adheres to radiation standards and guidelines set forth by governing agencies to ensure optimal patient safety and customer service.
• Performs related clerical and service duties and assists with other departments as needed.

• Major Responsibilities: 1.
• Properly performs all CT scan examinations appropriate to the age of the patient in inpatient and/or outpatient settings, consistent with departmental and professional standards and protocols.
• 2.
• Gathers pertinent clinical data and maintains accurate patient records.
• 3.
• Accurately completes all records, paperwork and billings and submits promptly.
• 4.
• Positions and transfers patients appropriately and assists physicians with interventional exams.
• 5.
• Promptly and properly completes exams, performs QC on images and appropriately sends exams to PACS for the physicians to review.

• Position Qualifications: License/Certification/Education: Required: 1.
• Graduate of an accredited radiological program.
• 2.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or NMTCB certified in diagnostic CT.
• 3.
• Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

• Required: 1. Demonstrated ability to provide quality patient care with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting, collaborating with peers to product optimum results. 2. Verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with patients and families.
