Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, injections, and monitoring vital signs. Assist with resident comfort and support the orientation and training of other staff members.
Must be a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse with a valid Florida state license and current CPR/First Aid certification. Requires strong communication skills and the physical ability to stand or walk for over four hours daily.

Summary of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Provide nursing care to residents as prescribed by the physician and in accordance with standards of nursing practice and regulations and as directed by the Director of Nursing.
Requirements of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Up to date first aid and CPR certification. Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse with FL state license. Exceptional staff training and customer service skills. Compassionate and friendly demeanor. Excellent technical, assessment, and documentation skills. Effective verbal and written English communication skills. Responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Provide bedside care. Administer medications and document therapeutic effects. Assist with resident comfort. Prepare and administer injections and/or enemas. Collect samples and monitor catheters. Take TPR (temperature, pulse, & rate), blood pressure, weighing of residents, etc., as directed. Assist in the orientation and training of other staff, as requested. Other special projects and duties, as assigned.
