Requires an active Kentucky RN license along with BCLS and ACLS certifications. Experience in Telemetry, ED, ICU/CCU, or other acute-care settings is preferred.
Baptist Health Louisville is expanding, and our 30+ bed Observation Unit plays a key role in supporting the Emergency Department and telemetry units. We care for low‑acuity patients who need short‑term evaluation before determining whether admission is required. This fast‑paced unit offers strong nurse‑to‑patient ratios and is well‑suited for nurses with Telemetry, ED, ICU/CCU, or other acute‑care experience. Responsibilities Complete comprehensive assessments and reassessments. Develop individualized, evidence‑based plans of care. Use strong critical thinking, clinical reasoning, and organizational skills in daily practice.
